Lawyer Nicoletta Garaventa
Born in Genoa on 15 January 1960.
She is a partner at the firm.
She graduated in Law from the University of Genoa and became a solicitor. She is qualified to represent clients before the Supreme Court of Cassation and other higher courts.
She practices in all areas of criminal law, with particular expertise in workplace safety (defending individuals accused of involuntary manslaughter or negligent injuries following accidents or occupational diseases, particularly those related to asbestos exposure), environmental criminal law, banking criminal law, tax criminal law, liability of healthcare professionals, and administrative liability of entities under Legislative Decree 231/2001. She has also acted as a defender in nationally significant cases in these areas.
She has participated as a speaker in seminars and conferences on various aspects of criminal law.
She has served as a member of supervisory bodies in the banking sector and has been the president and a member of the Supervisory Body for a major company in the railway signalling sector. She has also developed organisational models for leading companies.
She is a member of the Genoa Bar Council.
She coordinates and teaches the criminal law course at the “Mauro De André” Forensic School.
She was a contract lecturer in criminal law at the Specialisation School for Legal Professions at the University of Genoa.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Ligurian Criminal Chamber "Ernesto Monteverde."

He is a partner at the firm.
He graduated in Law from the University of Genoa and became a solicitor. He is qualified to represent clients before the Supreme Court of Cassation and other higher courts.
He practices in all areas of criminal law, with significant experience as both a defender and consultant in workplace safety and hygiene (defending individuals accused of involuntary manslaughter or negligent injuries following accidents or occupational diseases, particularly those related to asbestos exposure), environmental criminal law, banking criminal law, tax criminal law, liability of healthcare professionals, and administrative liability of entities under Legislative Decree 231/2001. He has also acted as a defender in nationally significant cases in these areas.
He has extensive experience with Legislative Decree 231/2001 as a member of supervisory bodies for leading companies in the banking, construction, port, financial, and maritime transport sectors.
He has also developed organisational models for major companies and participated as a speaker in seminars and conferences on various aspects of criminal law.

Born in Genoa on 27 August 1975.
She graduated in Law from the University of Genoa and became a solicitor. She is qualified to represent clients before the Supreme Court of Cassation and other higher courts.
She practices in all areas of criminal law, with notable experience in workplace safety, environmental criminal law, corporate and tax criminal law, and administrative liability of entities.
She is a member of the Supervisory Body for two waste management companies.
She has participated as a speaker in seminars and conferences on various aspects of criminal law.
She has taught at the “Mauro De André” Forensic School.
She collaborates with the legal journal “Il Fallimentarista.”
She is listed in the National Register of Public Defenders and qualified for State-funded legal representation.
Lawyer Matteo Sommella
Born in Genoa on 14 November 1991.
He graduated in Law from the University of Genoa and became a solicitor. He practices in all areas of criminal law, with specific expertise in the firm’s areas of specialisation, including workplace health and safety, environmental criminal law, banking criminal law, tax criminal law, criminal liability of healthcare professionals, and administrative liability of entities under Legislative Decree 231/2001.
He has collaborated with the Criminal Law Department of the University of Genoa.
He holds a PhD in Law (International Law Curriculum), awarded by the University of Genoa for a thesis titled: “Combating Financial Fraud within the European Union.”
He is the author of several scientific publications, particularly concerning crimes affecting the financial interests of the European Union and anti-money laundering directives.
He is a member of the Youth Council of the Regional Ligurian Criminal Chamber.
He is a member of and the Youth Observatory and Open Day of the Union of Italian Criminal Chambers.
